Garbage Collection Schedule

Addis

  • Garbage is picked up every Monday and Thursday
  • Bulk items that are too large to fit in receptacles are picked up the first (1st) week of every month

Brusly

  • Garbage is picked up every Monday and Thursday
  • Bulk items that are too large to fit in receptacles are picked up the second (2nd) week of every month

Port Allen & Unincorporated Areas North of the Intracoastal

  • Garbage is picked up every Tuesday and Friday
  • Bulk items that are too large to fit in receptacles from the intracoastal north to Hwy 190 will be picked up the third (3rd) week of every month and from Hwy 190 W. North to the Mississippi River will be picked up the fourth (4th) week of every month.

Within the Port Allen City Limits

  • Garbage is picked up every Wednesday and Saturday
  • Bulk items that are too large to fit in receptacles within the City Limits of Port Allen will be picked up on Saturdays.



Recycle Collection Schedule

Areas North of the Intracoastal, including Erwinville and Rosedale Road ( City of Port Allen NOT INCLUDED)

  • Recycling Carts will be picked up every Monday

Areas South of the Intracoastal, including Highway 1 continuing East to the border.

  • Recycling Carts will be picked up every Tuesday

Areas South of the Intracoastal, including Highway 1 continuing West to the border.

  • Recycling Carts will be picked up every Wednesday

Within the Port Allen City Limits

  • Recycling Bins will be picked up every Friday



Sugar Mill Plantation Residents Only

    Household Hazardous Materials

    West Baton Rouge Parish's Yearly Household Hazardous Materials Collection Day is held at the Myhand Fire Station, 8201 Laws Road, Addis, LA

    Recycling Old Tires

    Republic Services does not pick up old tires, but WBR residents wanting to dispose of old tires can drop them off free of charge at Environmental Industries Recycling in Port Allen.

    Maximum of 5 tires accepted every 24 hours. (Old tires only, nothing on a rim)
    Individual must have a valid Louisiana Driver's License and a Louisiana License Plate .
